We answer Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Eastern. Monday mornings and Friday afternoons are the busiest phone times. You will either reach us, get a busy signal, or if the office is closed the phone will just ring.
Frequently asked questions
Mount it high enough to walk under while you cut the grass, and out of reach of little hands. Most Titans are mounted on ten-foot poles sunk about three feet in the ground, or on one of our Quick Tilt mounts with a seven-foot mast. Wherever you mount it, ground or roof, keep the counterpoise at least four feet clear.
No. Anti-seize and conductive paste compounds are not recommended and not required.
Remove the screws holding the section in place, then use a flat punch or a large machine screw inside the larger 1/4″ outer holes to knock down any burrs the self-tapping screws formed in the smaller 1/8″ inner holes. The tubes should then slide apart easily. If you plan to break the antenna down often, for Field Day or a DXpedition, insert and remove a screw in each hole first, then file off the burr so it comes apart cleanly every time.
